About Me

Hi, I’m Adrian – a traveler, builder, and someone who prefers seeing the world firsthand rather than through someone else’s lens.

This blog started as a simple idea: document where I go. No influencer playbook, no “Top 10 things to do” templates – just real places, real moments, and a growing collection of experiences across the globe.

Where I’ve Been

Over the years, I’ve traveled across four continents – from dense megacities to remote landscapes:

  • Asia: Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Bangkok, Hanoi, Seoul, Bali, Jakarta
  • Middle East: Dubai
  • Africa: Cape Town
  • North America: New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Mexico City
  • Europe: London, Istanbul, Salzburg, Barcelona, Prague, Venice, Portugal

And that’s only part of it. Explore my full travel map

How I Travel

I don’t travel to “check boxes.” I travel to understand how places feel.

Some trips are structured. Others are improvised.
Sometimes it’s a 16-day route through multiple cities. Sometimes it’s just walking aimlessly until something interesting happens.

I’m equally comfortable:

  • navigating metro systems in cities like Seoul or New York
  • climbing mountains or exploring islands
  • or just sitting in a café watching a city move

Travel, for me, is not about highlights – it’s about context.

Why This Blog Exists

Most travel content today is optimized for algorithms.

This isn’t.

This blog is a personal archive – a way to:

  • document experiences over time
  • keep track of where I’ve been (and where I’m going)
  • share moments without overexplaining them

If you’re looking for curated perfection, you won’t find it here.
If you’re looking for authenticity, you will.

What I Do When I’m Not Traveling

Outside of traveling, I work in tech – focused on systems, infrastructure, and building things that scale.

That mindset influences how I travel:

  • I follow curiosity more than plans
  • I pay attention to small details others might overlook
  • I enjoy getting lost and seeing where it leads
  • I’m drawn to the atmosphere of a place – how it feels, not just what it offers

Travel and technology are not separate for me – they complement each other.

What’s Next

There’s no fixed plan.

More cities. More countries. More perspectives.

This blog will continue to evolve – just like the way I travel.
